Port Capacity
The annual transfer capacity of the Port of Senta port is around 1,500,000 t of various goods. The port is equipped with:
- two transfer points for marine structures with the carrying capacity of up to 1,800 t on a vertical pier system
- a 25 t carrying capacity arc loading bridge, which integrates river, railroad and road traffic. It is a universal type, with the equipment for handling containers, grabber and hook
- railroad lines (two rails) 1,050 m in lenght and road lines of 1,170 m in lenght
- equpment for loading marine structures with cereals and other goods "in bulk" onto ships of 3,000 t per day capacity
- unloading spot with rejection of buiolding materials (gravel, coal) with the capacity of 120 tonnes per hour
- public customs warehouses and public open and closed warehouses with capacity of 18,000m²
- gas station with the capacity of 300,000 litters capable of fuelling river vessels, rail and road vehicles (the gas station is operated by EURO PETROL DOO SUBOTICA, one of the Port of Senta's shareholder)
- a terminal for scattered cargo with gravel separation and all the necessary port machinery:
- 2 to 6 t forklifts
- ULT 220
- excavator
- 9 to 30 t trucks - digital road weighbridge with carrying capacity of 50 t
- gravel separation with fractions according to international standards (capacity 30m3 per hour)
- offices area of 1,950 m² for the port management (there is possibility for office renting for other companies)
- restaurant with capacity for accommodation of 75 people (there is possibility for renting the restaurant)
- car parking lot for 50 vehicles.
