From the moment, when the majority owner of Port of Senta, in 2012, decided to provide transshipment services to third parties, beside the members of its own LION GROUP, till now, Port of Senta executed transshipment of grains in the amount of 31.276 t.
In 2012, the first loading was executed by GRANIMPEKS doo Beograd with 2.381t. Then in September 2013, started the successful cooperation with AGROGLOBE doo Novi Sad, who has loaded 25 thousand tons of corn and wheat into vessels, till now and at the end of February, this year, for the first time MK COMMERCE doo Novi Sad started with loading of corn in our port.
Three foreign buyers purchased grains on FOB Port Senta, till now: CARGILL AGRICULTURA SRL, NIDERA B.V. and ALFRED C. TOEPFER INT. ROMANIA SRL, for which execution six shipping companies entered the river Tisza.
The first loading started with a domestic convoy, owned by YU AGENT doo Bezdan, and than TTS/NAVROM, as the first company with a foreign flag, "broken the ice". First, they sent their barges with the pusher ISTAR, and for the next loading, the convoy came with their MERCUR 101. They were followed by CFND with their TAFs and pusher PETAR I, and in organization by AGENT PLUS doo Beograd, DEIMOS SHIPPING Ltd came with their DSH barges and pusher Hochrein.
The most frequent guest in our port is BRODOKOMERC NS doo Novi Sad, with its DE and PZ barges and pusher ISTAR.
The convoy, loaded with the largest quantity of grain, was organized by EU SHIPPING LLC, with its EUSHIP I, II and III and PZ 100002 in the amount of 4.075t, in February this year.
The successful execution of all loadings was contributed by the surveyors: CONTROL UNION DANUBE, INTERTEK, SGS and ROTA CONTROL.
In 2014, the Port of Senta handled 117 thousand tons of goods, which arrived/departured on water (152 vessels), as follows:
96 995 t stone aggregate (gravel, fractions, stone) 128 vessels
4,944 t of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) 5 convoys (10 vessels)
15,071 t of grain (5 convoy: 14 vessels (4x3 vessels and 1x2 vessels).
and for the first two months of this year was loaded 11 tons of corn.
The port successfully performs railway transshipment of: sunflower seed, rape seed and fertilizers(900t pallets of fertilizers in begs were unloaded and stored in 8 hours).
